ATI cuts HD4870 x2 prices 
Fudzilla and xbits reports that Ati cuts HD4870x2 prices in order to challenge the release of nvidia gtx 295.From now on, ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2GB graphics cards cost $449, down $100 from the previous price of $549, which has been the best graphic card for 5 months in the market. Moreover, some partners of ATI are offering $50 mail-in rebate on Newegg.com online for their Radeon HD 4870 X2 models, which effectively makes such graphics boards available for $399.
It's a good time to grab the 4870x2 now. Personally i been using 4870x2 since the released and i will say the card is just excellent !
